Climate Action Planning: Foundations, Finance and Implementation Information Session

July 24, 2024, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Online

Canada is not on track to meet its 2030 target of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to 30% below 2005 levels despite implementing several climate policies and initiatives.

In this information session, learn about the UBC Micro-certificate in Climate Action Planning: Foundations, Finance and Implementation, which is designed to create the climate champions that Canada and the world need. Learn how this new part-time program provides a basic understanding of climate science, impacts and policies, and helps you identify key stakeholders related to specific aspects and locations that interest you.

During the session, meet the instructors who are experts in the field with extensive industry and adult education experience. Bring your questions to a Q&A following the presentation.
