Unpacking Policy: A Graduate Student Discussion

November 14, 2023, 12:30 pm to 1:20 pm

Many researchers who are exploring climate solutions have a strong desire to connect their work to policy.  But what does that mean and how does one go about doing it?  In this session, graduate students from all fields and disciplines are welcome to unpack what “policy” means within the context of their research, and explore their own opportunities for connecting with policy action.

This session will be led by Milind Kandlikar, Professor at the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs (SPPGA) and former Director of the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability (IRES). His work focuses on the intersection of technology innovation, human development and the global environment.
